We kept noticing that the things we loved never lived in one place. The great vintage was in one shop, the denim in another, and the jewelry somewhere else entirely. So we built the place we wanted to walk into.

A lot of it comes from how shopping felt when we were younger. You'd walk into the boutique at the mall, and someone would help you from start to finish. They'd pull pieces, find the right fit, and make sure you left with everything on your list. We missed that, so we're bringing it back. Come in for one thing and leave with the complete look with someone in your corner the whole way.

We didn't want to do it alone either. When we pictured our dream store we saw the people whose curation we admire. The items here are from friends and makers we wanted to bring along with us.

We both run our own businesses and they live here too. Kelly owns Desert Denim, which offers denim tailoring, rigid repairs, a Levi's boutique, and personalized shopping appointments, all inside Tucson General. Gabby owns Cowtail Vintage and runs Desert Haze Vintage Market.
