It's been a few weeks since we opened the doors at Tucson General and I wanted to take a minute to look back on it all.
First thank you. It felt like everyone and more showed up for the soft opening and I keep running into friends who have stopping in on their to do list. The support feels endless. Tucson is just kind of like that.

A moment that sticks out for me: a couple came in and shopped for hours. We got to talking about vintage, music, books, politics, and where we were all from. It just felt like real connection, something I didn’t know I was missing due to the ease of access to screens and instagram. If it hadn't been for the store I don't know where we would have crossed paths.

That's what's keeping me going right now: seeing all of you, talking, and finding out what you all are really passionate about. Our incense keeps selling out and when a specialty piece comes in it usually doesn't last long. A pair of python skin cowboy boots was gone almost as soon as it hit the floor. So if something catches your eye my advice is to not wait on it.
We’re excited for November. More sweaters and scarves are coming into the shop and I'm personally excited to see people start gift shopping.
Come find us in Iron Horse Wednesday through Sunday 11am–5pm. We'd love to meet you.
